From the early 2000’s we were business owners of a Furniture Repair & Reupholstery company as well as a Custom Closet company and that kept us very busy. In 2014 we sold our companies and embarked on what we call our Epic Road Trip. We headed out in our SUV from Vancouver, BC and took a month to get to Miami, FL, staying in hotels along the way. That trip fuelled our thirst for travel and we knew we loved being road gypsies. We decided that while the hotels were great, we needed to get our own rig and find more unique and interesting places to stay while we continued these adventures. And to do that, we needed to still work and found a way to do that and provide a service for like minded people.

Our journey into tank cleaning began — like many of our customers — at an RV rally. Curious about a service being offered, we tried it and were shocked at how unclean our tanks really were, despite thinking we did a “pretty good job.” That experience sparked the idea behind RV Healthy Tanks.
 

What began as a part-time venture to support our travels quickly grew. With more rallies, more referrals, and more repeat customers, we realized this wasn’t just a side gig — it was a business built on trust, service, and real results. And it all started with a couple, and a love for clean travel.
